What Happens If a Tetherflux SMS Code Never Arrives?

If your paid Tetherflux SMS activation expires before a code arrives, the activation charge is automatically credited back to your Tetherflux wallet after the expiry is processed. Check the activation status and your wallet balance before requesting another number.

1. Check the activation timer

Open SMS Verification in your Tetherflux account and select the activation. Confirm that you chose the intended app and country and entered the number correctly. If the activation is still waiting for a code, use the timer shown on that activation. Some apps send codes through a different channel or reject temporary numbers. Follow the verification instructions in the app you’re using.

2. Refresh the status and check your wallet

After the timer ends, reopen the SMS activation list. Once the system processes the expiry, check your wallet balance for the credit. It goes to your Tetherflux wallet, separately from the payment you used to fund that wallet.

For example, if a paid activation cost ₦400 and expired without receiving a code, the expiry credit is ₦400. Your overall balance may also reflect other orders or deposits.

If a provider never assigns a number, Tetherflux doesn’t deduct the activation charge. If a code arrived but the app rejected it, the automatic no-code expiry credit does not apply.

3. Contact support if the credit is missing

Send the activation reference, the app and country you selected, and the status you see. If the app rejected the number, include the error message. Keep verification codes, passwords, and full phone numbers out of your message and screenshots.

Read the SMS expiry and wallet credit rules or contact Tetherflux support. If you need reliable long-term account access, use a number you control.
